At Mottum Analytica, we know that useful, secure, and efficient Artificial Intelligence cannot be implemented without rigorous data management. Therefore, within the framework of the Inter-American Development Bank's (IDB) Tech Masters initiative, we trained 168 of its professionals in a key course: Data for AI.
During this training, we addressed the technical foundations of generative AI and the challenges of applying this technology in highly regulated environments with sensitive information like the IDB. We focused on information classification, data architecture, the responsible use of foundational models, and the design of assistants with validated information. The objective: to empower teams, from a practical perspective, to be more efficient with AI without compromising data security or quality.
AI does not replace human intelligence, but it does amplify it. And its effectiveness directly depends on the quality of the data we use. In a corporate context, where reputation and efficiency are key, having well-classified, accessible, and secure data is the first step toward a truly transformative AI implementation.
