Strategic Training in Data Management for AI for 168 IDB Professionals.

The IDB is advancing in the adoption of AI technologies, but their application in highly regulated environments with sensitive information requires robust data management and clear methodologies. The challenge was to train its technical and non-technical teams to understand the fundamentals of generative AI, properly manage information, and apply the technology without compromising the security, quality, or governance of institutional data.

Design and deliver training on the technical pillars necessary to implement AI successfully, from information classification and data architecture to the responsible use of foundational models and the design of assistants based on validated information. The training combined conceptual sessions, applied exercises, and risk analysis to ensure that participants could incorporate sound data management practices into their projects. This approach enabled the teams to develop clear criteria for moving toward more efficient, secure AI solutions that are aligned with institutional policies.
